Not by the sound of it. I am attending a meeting of fish auction directors. Every week these men see a bountiful harvest of fresh fish from the North Sea - sole, plaice, turbot, tub gurnard and Norwegian lobster - pass through their auction to the retailers. Read more »

It’s not often that I leave a conference in high spirits. Frankly, I’m not a great fan of these events – they are often dull affairs with too much one-way traffic and rarely produce any lasting benefit. That’s my opinion, anyway.
